Force Congress to Subject Themselves to Legislation

If Congress is going to promote socialism, they should live under it just like the rest of us. Maybe that will wake them up to the reality that we are a republic, not a socialist democracy.

In our republic, nobody has a higher social status than anyone else… that is if you believe that the Constitution is still in use.  I happen to believe that government and the courts are almost totally ignoring it.

I think we the people should force a resolution to require all Congress members to be subjected to all legislation that affects the general population.  They should not be allowed to have their own separate healthcare plan, superior to the one they vote on for the rest of us.  After all, what makes them so special?  They are there to allegedly represent us.  They should never consider themselves superior to the rest of us.
